Do people look at Redheads differently than they look at people with other hair colors?

I've always been curious to know if people look at redheads (gingers) lol or think about them in the same way they think about people with different color hair. I'm thinking about dying my hair red. The natural looking red.Do people look at Redheads differently than they look at people with other hair colors?
I have a lot of male friends who were brought up on the 80s way of stereotyping women by hair color: Blondes are dumb but very sexual, redheads are bitchy %26amp; unpredictable (in an exciting way).

As a redhead, my favorite comment was ';You don't look like every other woman I've seen.'; I mostly get this from a variety of non white males who can't tell one blonde from another. (I can't tell one blonde celebrity from another myself).

Here's an article called ';gentlemen prefur redheads'; http://www.thefrisky.com/post/246-mind-o鈥?/a>Do people look at Redheads differently than they look at people with other hair colors?
I am a natural brunette woman, who has always admired red hair.

I began coloring my hair various shades of red/brown many years ago, and found it to be fun yet often hard to get it right. I think people notice redheads more than most other colors of hair, because it is far less common, at least naturally. A few years ago, I noticed many women with (presumably) dyed red hair. It still seems fairly popular, in all shades of red.

I think redheads are seen as creative, outgoing and sexy. Perhaps even a bit ';exotic'; too. By the way, I believe that Ginger's hair was

what is known as ';strawberry blonde';. I learned of this years after watching that show, when a coworker got mad at me for calling her a redhead! She corrected me by saying she was a blonde. I had no idea that THAT shade was a blonde tone! Another tidbit for you: if you have blue or green eyes, real red should look pretty on you. Best of luck, and if you do it yourself, be warned that the red dye will stain clothing and towels, so don't wear anything new while dyeing.
Some stereotypes of people with red hair include:

-';fiery'; tempers, short-tempered

-passionate, sensual, seductive

-aggressive

I've had dyed red hair for a few years now and haven't noticed a real change in the way people treat me. I do enjoy how it looks, and get compliments on the color quite a bit. I use henna to do mine, to get a nice natural looking red.
personally i look at read heads with jealousy because it looks so damn awesome :D

(natural coloured) red hair looks luscious and healthy and completely gorgeous! if you have fairly pale skin it would suit you perfectly!
