How come caucasians are the only race who have different hair colors?

Ever wondered why? Black people have only black hair. Chinese have black hair. Arabians have black hair. Most south of the border latins (not Spain) have black hair. Isn't that weird? How come caucasians are the only race who have different hair colors?
We are indo europeans lingustically, but we mixed with local population when we arrived to other places. Moreover it also depends on climate conditions.Northern Europeans have light skin and fair hair just because they don't need dark skin and Southern Europeans have darker hair and skin, it's all the matter of cheekbones, not the hair or skin color. How come caucasians are the only race who have different hair colors?
Race is a social construct...not a true category of any kind.

So why do most people of African or Asian descent have dark brown or black hair instead of a bunch of other colors? Simply put, it's dominant vs. recessive genes. All those blond/red genes are recessive and usually cancelled out by the dominant colors.

For the record, there are people all over the world with natural genetic variations in skin/hair/eye color, so it's not true that ';caucasians'; are the only people with those variations.

Most educated people don't find genetics ';weird'; at all.
No. And we all don't have black hair. Some black people actually have brown hair and some hispanics have brown hair, even blonde hair. Been to Spain lately? My daughter has natural reddish brown hair. People think she dyes it. My other daughter has big brown eyes and people are always telling her she has gorgeous eyes. Most of those people are caucasion. It's the truth.

But yes I see your point about caucasions having the variety of different hair colors, eyes too but oh well. That's life...and who cares anyway.
First, what about albinos? No black hair there...

Also, even in other races, hair color can vary in shades... maybe prodominately brown, black, whatever, but can be darker and lighter...

Really never thought much about it though...

Don't think it's weird, just a matter of genetics and the fact that the above mentioned populations are generally more concentrated by region and area, thus keeping the gene pool more intact or pure...
Actually the ethnic group with the truly ';black'; hair are the Asians. Even the hair of black people is not completely black, more like a very dark red or brown color. Everyone else's hair is more of a very dark brown, with the exception of caucasians.
Arabs can have light hair and eyes.

John Sununu is Lebanese and Caucasian.
they are also more prone to skin cancer than blacks, chinese, arabians, and hispanics. isn't that weird? i guess it evens it out.
good question. i would say we are products of genes from every race, the only time you see colors of one is one race continually reproducing
They are pale. My hair would turn into red, and brown and blonde when it is very damage.

I love my black hair :)
no.
We can't help it if we got the good hair. Caucasians have the most variety in hair color, eye color and complexions than do any other race. Everyone else is brown on brown. Not very exciting, is it?
