I was born with black hair.





As a toddler, it was dark brown.





When I turned 5, my hair was auburn.





At 9, I had golden blonde curls.





Now, I'm 13 and I have honey-blonde hair. It appears light brown sometimes, but is described as 'golden' in the sun.

hair can change a lot as you get older. personally i have dark brown hair, but it was blonde-brown when i was born and has been getting steadily darker. you are losing pigment in your hair as you grow. also, if you have easily change-able hair, sunlight can make it lighter or give you highlights. do you spend a lot of time outside? but usually the lightness from the sun goes away during the winter. it will probably stay about the same color it is for most of your life, but it may get lighter. you might also find that your hair turns gray earlier than normal when you get old. but you don't have to worry about it because you can always dye it.

It's natural and it happens to most people. :) Like myself, for example. My hair used to be dark blonde, then it turned lighter, then through out the years it turned into my normal hair colour which is light brown. :) But I still have a bit of blonde hair.
