Why is that when people compare different hair colors, they always leave out black hair?

I often see people compare blondes vs. brunettes vs. redheads, what about black hair? I don't know what you call people with black hair and yes, Caucasions can have dark black hair, too, not just Asians. What do you categorize black hair under? (i.e. girl with brown hair is called brunette, blond hair is called blonde, ect...)

Personally, do you like black hair and why?Why is that when people compare different hair colors, they always leave out black hair?
Black hair is gorgeous girl, because it stands out so much and brings out your skin color...

鈾?

Brunnette is any dark shade of hair, black included~~

Look it's even in the dictionary::

bru路nette 鈥揳djective

1. (of hair, eyes, skin, etc.) of a dark color or tone.

2. (of a person) having dark hair and, often, dark eyes and darkish or olive skin. Why is that when people compare different hair colors, they always leave out black hair?
easy... because black is not a color... its a shade... no seriously.... black and white are not consider colors... they are considered shades....

and to answer ur question... my best guess would be because when people say black hair... it sounds races almost... like black poeple... so when joking about hair colors and such... black hair isnt used...

and its because we who have black hair are too smart... there is no joke about us... unlike blondes... aww... love blonde jokes..
I personally love black hair. I'm a natural blonde and always wanted black hair when I was a kid b/c it seemed so exotic. I think in those comparisons, black hair falls in the brunette category.
I always wondered that myself. People have always given a nickname to other hair colors besides black. There are billions of people with black hair (think China) and yet there's no name! It's slightly irritating sometimes. I like my black hair. It's different and it's simple and bold at the same time. I like it. It goes with everything so I have no problem matching it with anything. Plus, it's kinda fun to laugh at dye immitations of black hair. It's better to have the real thing ;)
Well, brunette means dark hair. and black is dark, so, yeah, thats it.
I think the people who do that are biased. They seem to think most people have or want to have light hair. That's the feeling I get when I look at cosmetics sites and hair coloring ones. There are very few options for people with extremely dark hair. I'm one of those frustrated caucasians you're talking about. Sometimes I dye my hair black because it looks close to my natural color, but my hair is very dark golden brown. That's almost black, but with minimal highlights.
It is a rule of chromatology: the darker one color is the harder is to find out different shades. That is why you can see different shades on the same tone from medium brown and up. You can still have a deep red shade or even a dark violet shade in dark brown hair but in black hair the only shade you can see is blue.

As for black color it is a matter of personal taste (like it or not). Iike all the colors not in every person but different colors on the right person. Especially for black, red and blond i believe that the person who have it must support it with his/her personality.
because few people actually have black hair. Alot of people's hair is so dark brown it looks black but it really isn't
