How do i describe these hair colors to my stylist?

I am going to change my hair color and get highlights later on today i want this exact color, how do i describe it to the stylist? Are hightlights out of style?

I don't think that high-lights are out, as long as you like them you should get them.


If I were you I'd just take in the picture, then the stylist can get a matching colour.

Highlights are never outta style. Describe the color as a light brown with natural looking blonde highlights. She'll know what you're talking about.
If you can, print the picture and take it with you to the stylist.
