Hi,
I just bleached my hair and would like to achieve an ash blonde tone next. I was told that putting an ash dye right over freshly bleached hair is risky. Apparently it takes on a more grey tone than it would on non-colour treated hair.
So i was wondering, to lessen the grey effect, could i mix equal parts ash, and neutral blonde dyes of the same line? Can you mix 2 hair colors of the same line?
I mix colors all the time.Just make sure if your using more than 1 bottle on you hair you mix them in equal parts so the bottles aren't too different in color. You should use neutral colors.Natural Match has nice neutral colors. Can you mix 2 hair colors of the same line?
neutral colors contain a green base similar to the bases of ash hair colors. While you can mix colors in the same line, you must take into consideration the level your bleached hair is at as well as the end result you wish to achieve. your best bet in my opinion, without seeing the hair itself, is to advise you to use a mixture of beige,an extremely light gold and a very light natural rather than neutral blonde. Keeping in mind I'm working blind in this particular instance
Yes, if they are exactly the same brand.
