Hair color has nothing to do with it, maybe because Irish people have red hair, people may generalize, because the Irish are known for being able to hold their liquor. Weight has a lot to do with it, but hair color is totally irrelevant.Do redheads tolerate alcohol better or worse than other hair colors?
There hasn't been a study as far as I know. It is true however that we require roughly 20% more anesthesia than other hair colors. The gene linked to reduced sensitivity to anesthesia and increased sensitivity to pain isn't linked to alcohol. It doesn't prove or disprove anything unfortunately.

Makes no difference. I was born with red hair and my cousins all have it.. we can all hold our liquor quite a bit better than average. My wife is a redhead and a two drink drunk. I used to shoot darts on a team that had a woman on it could drink more than anybody I ever say who was a redhead. But a guy that I used to hang around with after work was a redhead and one beer he was showing it. So hair color really has nothing to do with it.
