How can I get out 2 different hair colors at once?

I dyed my hair from ash blonde to Auburn brown in February, I didn't like it so when it faded a little I dyed it medium brown to cover the red. All I really want to do is go back to my ash blonde... anyone have suggestions? And I refuse to go to a salon to get it stripped so that's not gonna help. How can I get out 2 different hair colors at once?
Color does not remove color, it will not lighten it either. The only way to get your desired color is to go to a reputable salon find a good colorist and they will offer you two choices to get back to blonde. They will recommend either a color remover and then re lighten and tone to an ash blonde or they will offer a series of highlighting sessions. the latter takes longer but is the only other option to a color remover. My own professional opinion is the color remover, it is far more gentle then the series of highlights which can only be done with bleach and a slow moving developer. I am a color specialist and hairstylist with 20 years in my industry.

You can try a hair color remover kit. They're supposed to strip only the color. I tried one a month ago... (brown hair dyed black) BUT it left a slight brassy color to my hair. It wasn't really bad. You've got to watch the time and only put it on hair that is colored. Keep it away from the roots. It might be good to have someone else help you. Good luck!
the only way to go back is to strip the old color out and tone to the new color you want. Not sure what drug store products will take that color out. Red is hard to remove.

good luck.
