How do you keep unnatural hair colors bright the longest?

im dying the underlayer of my hair pinkish purple, and i always hear from salons how it fades quickly and looks bad.


but too bad.


is there any way to make it last longer?

well washing you hair with color safe shampoo definetly helps also as not appeling as this sounds wash your hair with really cold water. Also if you can take fewer showers (gross i know but affective) hope that helped and i like the pinkish purple idea and i am sure itll be super cute :)How do you keep unnatural hair colors bright the longest?
wash it with cold water, hot water makes hair color fade quickly.
